I think this might be Alan/s very favourite sheep. If so, lots of Brownie points!

Lovely! Sheepie I see has been using the fence as a scratching panel judging by the wool caught on it.

Frank will soon be on his way...

Great, great, great! Oh, what a special sheep, a white head and black body!
Nice easy scramble to the summit .. Just one tricky bit under the summit … probably need to skirt round to the left. Then a great ridge walk.
Check with Frank to see if my observations are correct
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile He confirms your observations are correct! smile
What a cute little sheep. Going up that mountain would be a steady climb wouldn't it.
More nice shots of this lovely day, Elizabeth. Richard is pretty much right.
The colours on the mountain astound me and the sheep with the special face is a bonus. Wonderful post, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Aren't the colors amazing... Thank you, Mary!
What an adorable brown sheep. I do not see many this color.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I've not seen any in the states like this... but the Herdwick is the most common sheep in the Lake District of England. They're very hardy... are left up on these fells in all seasons and all weather.
nice composition with the black sheep and the mountain Elizabeth...

only 1 more day... make up for it!!

I love this rugged landscape as well as the zoom in which catches the personality of the white faced sheep.
