Beautiful verdant greens along these steep hills!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Typical England, Steven! Everything is always so green!
Joli chemin pour se promener.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's a really lovely path!
Nice shot. I am expecting the headless horseman to come around the corner.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Perfect time of year...
ONE DAY, Elizabeth!!! I have heard so much about the Lake District. ONE DAY!!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh, I hope you do make it! And I know of a few people who would be happy to be your personal guides! I always tell people that Frank not only knows every single road, but seemingly every hill, mountain and tree as well! smile

I think you must have loved walking here, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh, I really do! The mountains always call me... so to stroll around a lake IN the mountains... ahhhhhh!

I like gates; they are much better than stiles smile When I too tired to cope with another high fell, this is a favourite walk. Did you go through the little tunnel? I hope Frank bought you an ice cream made on the farm in Buttermere itself.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: And these are so decorative, I think! It is a really nice walk - and yes we went through the tunnel! smile The ice cream stand was closed by the time we finished :-(
Humm , cela me plairait bien de m' y promener ..ce petit pont nous y invite !
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I think you would, Claudine! The whole place is so pretty!
