"glory" is right here, Elizabeth - wonderfully atmospheric!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Ayush! It was a perfect day!
Super shot, Elizabeth, the tree 'curtain' adds to it.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Frank! I hoped it would!

That's very nice, Elizabeth.

I hope Donald Duck is pre-occupied with other matters and leaves the big crack alone.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Ray!
I hope so, too, Ray - but they've already started plans to mine near the Canyon, and transport the uranium THROUGH FLAGSTAFF! UGH! Idiots.

This is a likey to me, Elizabeth.... what a fabulous picture.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Astrid!
How wonderful, Elizabeth, especially with the branches above giving a certain coziness to the image.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Ginnie! I like the way you describe this - "cozy"!

The rain shower adds a new dimension to the canyon and is probably so important to some the the flora and fauna there. I like your viewpoint with the overhanging trees.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: We were er lucky with the sky that day.... and yes, we desperately need some moisture!
Thanks so much, Alan!

This looks mystical, and so well-named, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Lisl! Early geologists in the canyon named many of the buttes and pillars for mythological beings... the grandeur of the canyon required such honor.

It’s teaming down.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It does look that way. The crazy thing in the canyon is that there can be a 40 degree temperature difference from top to bottom... so what starts as snow at the top, often becomes verga on the way down, dissipating before it hits the canyon floor.
This is a cracking picture E. Just wonderful
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Bill!

This is more than wonderful - I am enthusiast.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Philine!!
I think the sky put on a show for you that day. Gorgeous!!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It did, indeed, Mary! I took sooo many shots! Thank you!
Absolutely terrific landscape image. I'm sorry we can't offer you anything like this when you come over here. BTW this is a definite for your 'My Best Images' folder, round about #1 I think.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Brian! I'm so happy to hear your praise! I will, then, put it in a folder I'm starting... I want to get about 20 of mine and Franks best images to have printed and present them at local business for display. Flagstaff is big on supporting local artists and many restaurants, cafes and bars will feature an artist per month. We thought maybe we could present a joint show. So thank you for your support!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I certainly don't! Thank you, Bonnie!
