Hahah!! Yes! It does loom very much that, even with a little sprig of holly. Interesting to se that there is no sign of snow elsewhere.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile There's a little dusting on the ridges on the right... But this little outcrop was below the South Rim - so we probably caught it during the only hour it gets any sun... Whereas the ridges across the way are getting sun for most of the day.

.......and the 'cherry' on top... FABULOUS, just FABULOUS.... Great shadows. A likey to me!!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Thank you so very much, Astrid!!! I'm so pleased you like it!
How incredible is that find, Elizabeth! It is completely undisturbed and very beautiful.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I thought it just wonderful!
Very difficult to get to this little outcrop. I almost attempted it, but it would have meant crossing a large stone that was wedged between this outcrop and the main "land" where we were. One never knows how stable those wedged in stones are! Frank wouldn't let me - and in the end - I'm glad!
The ultimate place for a 'lone tree' shot, a favourite subject of mine.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Brian! I like them, myself!
