Ready to Throw

I'm sure there must be horses in Heaven-

and Travis is no doubt on one of the finest,

just like the one he's on here

Thanks to Mr. Croston for using his talents, once again, to clean up this image!

He looks like he does that very well Elizabeth... but it's his horse that stole the show for me....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Travis and the entire Shiew family are excellent ropers! And yes- they also have the best horses... they were going a full clip here, but you'd never know it- both horse and rider are so relaxed!

A beautifully clean image Elizabeth, Mr Croston's talents know no boundaries
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Chris!
So true... yet another reason to love him! I think in this one there was a telephone line that looked like it was coming out of the horses nose! Something like that... smile
It's clear the horse is at his beck and call, Elizabeth, which helps to make this a delightful image of Travis.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Ginnie! These horses are just so well trained and responsive, the riders hardly need to give any commands at all, the horse just knows!

Well done Frank, we only want clean images on SC.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Absolutely! There was a telephone wire in the background, that looked like it was coming out of the horses nose! EEW!

The horse's head could be a sculpture - so noble.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't that a perfect pose!
A fine tribute to the man Ellie.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Michael

Excellent action shot. Can't even imagine what was so dirty in the picture for mr Croston to clean up.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Louis!!!
Well - it was just that a telephone wire in the background looked like it was coming out of the horses nose! smile
A fine picture, Elizabeth, a fitting tribute, and such a lovely horse.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Frank... I'm glad you think so. Yes- he has such a gorgeous horse!
Cool action again
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Chantal!!
I don't care if the composition is yours or your good friend Mr.Croston's, it is just right. These people must be good riders, he is presumably controlling the horse only with his legs.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Brian! Frank just cloned out a telephone wire that looked like it was coming out of the horses nose!!! smile
They are amazing riders, and their horses are so intuitive. The commands are given verbally, as the cowboys will often rise out of the saddle or lean far over in order to rope the steer... leg pressure means nothing, pulling on the reins means nothing. Usually the horse just does his job... chases the steer, without input from the cowboy.

A nice thought. He certainly fits my mental image of a ranch dude.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He is cowboy personified!
Fantastic Elizabeth... nicely polished!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Ronky!
Oh, I really like this, Elizabeth. One of the best of the series so far.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Beverly! I do like this one, both are so focused... and I actually got them IN focus! HA!
I love the determined look on the horse.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't that remarkable!
