The nearly hidden detail in that big blue slab is a knock-out, Elizabeth...sort of dance-of-the-7-veils concept...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Ray! It pretty much looked just like this - and my aim is always to try to get the camera to capture what I see... I think it worked this time!

This reminds me of a documentary: the Flight Of The Condor I once saw on TV
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh ya! And actually, Frank and I saw some Condors a few weekends ago at Lees Ferry over the Colorado River!

What a view from that watchtower, Elizabeth. One day I'd like to see that first-hand!

I've sat on the side of the Canyon and watched eagles doing just that; fascinating how with such little effort they can just wind the air. Like Chris, I enjoyed "Flight of the Conor".
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh you lucky dog! It is incredible isn't it!
Frank and I saw Condors soaring over the Colorado at Lees Ferry a few weeks ago!

What a wonderful photo- it could make my day! I have the feel to sail with the birds through the air.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh thank you so much, Philine! Wouldn't that be wonderful!
