Lovely cityscape in the setting sun! I feel the warmth smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Frances! This was actually early morning in October - so yes, the day would've been getting warm in Phoenix already!
Great lighting across the skyline Elizabeth... i like your airport series even if i don't like airports...

On Tuesday i flew roundtrip from home to Ottawa for a half hour appointment with a Respirologists.

now here's the rub...
to fly out of Kapuskasing i have to take Bearskin Airlines... an 18 passenger prop airplane... and we have to walk out onto the tarmac to get on the plane.
it made stops in three cities before it landed in Ottawa... it took three and a half hours... and the same time to get back home... i left home at 6:15 a.m. and got back home at 8:30 p.m.
that's why i don't like airportsgrin....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Peter! I understand, now, why you don't like airports! Would it have been faster to drive?! smile

This looks strangely unreal in that light - nice panorama
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It does, Lisl - I agree! Thank you!

What I love most, Elizabeth, is the palm trees! grin Not every cityscape has them, you know.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I like that you like the palms! They're all over Phoenix. Phoenicians are delusional about the fact that they live in a desert, so surround themselves with tropical landscaping!

Love airports at this moment. Just booked my ticket to the US & Canada for my hols in September
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: AWESOME!!! Where will you visit in the US?
Suddenly Phoenix becomes Miami, with those palm trees & water channels ... smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't that crazy! I told Ginnie that Phoenicians are delusional about the fact that they live in a desert.
Lovely panorama in this beautiful light Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Richard!
nice panorama. from this view it does not look like a densely populated city.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: That's true, Ayush! Looks are deceiving! Thank you!

The Arizona dawn breaking over the city is quite a spectacle!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is a lovely sight isn't it Mike!
Looking good in the morning sun Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Janet!
Wonderful light Elizabeth and lovely to see greenery all around.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Pauline! They are in denial about living in a desert!

I like Sky Harbor airport; it all seems quite relaxed and logical. Good shuttle buses to the car Rental Centre, too.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I do too, Alan! One of my favorites!

Early flight? Otherwise get back in bed!
A nice cityscape.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Early enough - when I travel to the East Coast - I lose 3 hours, so I usually have to start early. Thanks Louis!

Palm trees and a city outline, and that sky looks an unusual blue, was it day break?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yep, early morning!
Good shot, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Tom!
