You had good visibility for your trip.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Some days... smile The day I wanted to surprise Frank with a view of Maroon Bells (not telling him what they were...), we were socked in with cloud and rain! Most disappointing!

So close you are almost in touching distance.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's a magical feeling to be up in the Rocky's... feeling so smallllll!
You have to come a lot further east to be in heaven, my dear! smile

Gorgeous view!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile I suppose it's a matter of taste! smile
Thank you!
Mountain landscapes don't come much better than this. Did you have to walk up to there or is there a road taking you a lot of the way?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I don't think so, Brian!
This was taken from the road.... slow going with everyone stopping to stare - but that's OK!
I imagine that there is much less snow than used to be.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Sadly, I'm sure you're right!
Looks marvellous... want to go now!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Ok! Meet ya there! smile
I like this rugged snow dotted landscape
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh I love it with all my heart... could never live far from the mountains!
