An interesting mix of monochrome and pink on this unidentifiable slice of machinery. I think I like the doors and chains better.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Harry! I think our avid train fans will recognize it more readily... I sometimes get a little too abstract with my close ups... smile The doors and chains were kind cool on their own!

You are becoming a railway buff grin
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Working in that direction... smile

love the composition and the dramatic contrast of the rust type color and the black and white beyond
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Alan! I kind of found the combination of angles and colors fascinating!
all the right angles to draw the viewer in smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: So pleased you think so, Rob! Thanks!
Nice contrasts and textures captured here
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Ruthie! I was much more fascinated by it all than I thought I would be! smile
Sometimes the part is better than the whole, just like these two shots.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Brian! I do sometimes get into the abstract...

Those doors with their leading lines are very eye-catching! Great capture!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Steven - the doors were really amazing!
