I used to have a gas stove and loved it!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Most good cooks seem to prefer them - easier to adjust the temp.

so which recipe was being cooked ?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Honestly - I don't remember! But I know it was one of Cessa's favorites, and she was excited to be making it for us, after not getting this cookbook out for some time! I do remember it being absolutely delicious!

I love cooking

and eating..
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I hate to cook. Eating is a necessity...

Is that a recipe book? I'm more of "chuck some things in a pan, joggle it about a bit and bung it on a plate" sort of person smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is, indeed, Alan! I'm more of a "what's in the freezer that can be thrown in the microwave" sort of person!

Cook books still seem to sell well.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Always will, I'm sure!
Maureen has a big shelf of cookery books, some I have bought her, amd I have often put a 'soppy' poem in the front for her, silly, or is it romantic, me!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I have a friend who has the same - perhaps sans the romantic poems! smile That's very sweet, Brian!

Great set-ups for this photo shoot which makes attendance at dinner very tempting!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Steven!!
We get a lot of cook books donated to our book sale and they seem to sell well
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I would imagine so, Bill!
Looks very appetizing, Elizabeth. Love the yellow sticker she used as a book mark. My daughter does the same thing. I had a gas top burner at our old house; really loved cooking on it.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Dinner was delicious - but I couldn't tell you exactly what we had! Some kind of past dish...
Gas tops seem most popular with good cooks!

It always seems to taste SO much better when someone else cooks it smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh, I completely agree!!!
You, recipe book, stove and pans, have you heard of the trades description act ? And you've used a false name!....smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Ha!!! Very funny!!!
