it reminds me of asparagus
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile I can see why! You wouldn't want to eat it, that's for sure!
It makes a nice photo, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you - I'm glad you think so!

It reminds me a bit of asparagus, but with the heads chopped off.
Prise de vue très interessante
Bonne journée
Seen like this, they look like asparagus
Ps. That bench, would not it be time to change it? wink

I like how you have caught the lines and patterns of it all.
Really like how you've captured the middle stalk, Elizabeth; standing strong & tall amongst the others.
You caught the first one to sprout anew.....and then for something all together different!

Like Sherri, I was thinking of asparagus. I wonder if Chris has something similar growing on his bench?

Like strange cigarettes...
Horsetail Rush....don't believe I have ever seen this plant before.

At first I thought it was an extremely dense cluster of bamboo trees.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Seems you're in the majority.... But it's fairly common in our part of the world - out west, here
thanks for floral lesson about Horsetail Rush
