Granny Smith would be pleased.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Thank you, Harry! I hope so - as was I, when I bit into one of these shiny, tasty delectables!

Granny Smiths used to be my favourite apple, but somehow, these days, they don't taste like they used to.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They are still my favorite! I think since I try not to each sugar, the tartness is still quite strong and appealing to me!
They look like Granny Smiths
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Exactly right!
wonderful reflections from the sun Elizabeth....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Peter!
The pear looks bitable.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I agree... but I didn't!
I'm not keen on green Apples but the Pear is just how I like them.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: That pear does look just about perfect!
And Eva fell into temptation
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Indeed!
like the natural composition you have captured.

brings back memories of the prison because each day the only treat was these type of apples they provided us at lunch or dinner.

Because of the disarrangement of the teeth in my mouth, lifelong underbite I have never been eat apples like 99.99% of other people

I have had to develop my own unique method or use knives of some kind or buy apple sauce.

love the contrast of the color of the apples with the container's color.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Alan!

I suppose I am happy they gave you fruit at all... Even if you had to work extra hard to eat them...
