the mist sitting on the mountaintop is stunning
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Sherri! An effect we don't see often here.
I recognise this place...smile Where's the video?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I bet you do! I dunno :-(

Your enthusiasm for skies seems to be causing the subject to flow into days other than Sundays, Elizabeth...and that is just fine by me.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Ray! I appreciate your appreciation! smile

'Under the weather' indeed, Elizabeth. Wonderful view of the mountain and clouds.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Thank you so much, Astrid!
And with that patch of blue, Elizabeth, it will clear soon. That's what I love about scenes like this, as well as our moods. They often change from one minute to the next! smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Likely so! And aren't you waxing poetic with that metaphor! smile

This is nice: clouds enveloping mountains
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Chris! We don't get to see this view often.

Catching the clouds before they moved off, Elizabeth. I like how you fix the moment
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Lisl! We were happy to be witness to this lovely effect!

This looks like English Moreland. Camping is horrible in bad weather.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I can see that... though this peak is covered in Juniper, Ponderosa & Aspen! smile
Reminds me of a morning about to bloom.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Indeed - and what a lovely description!

I like how you captured this moment while the clouds are touching the mountains or hills.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: thank you, Philine! So fortunate to have been there!
I like this and especially that hint of the blue sky above peeking through the clouds.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Brian! Wasn't that lucky?!
You could run and catch the clouds
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Seems that way sometimes!

I like this presentation - a little melancholy when 'under the weather' - that would be me ...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Louis! Are you under the weather?
We lack mountains but are experiencing rather dramatic april showers at the moment
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Frank read today that England had it's wettest March in a decade, meanwhile Flagstaff has had it's third driest winter on record.

A dusting of snow I should think?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: And you would be right!

A great atmosphere these low-lying clouds create as they hover over the mountains! The lighting adds a nice ambiance as well.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I just love mountains and clouds... and when they com together... welll... smile
