What delightful rust highlights you have picked out...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Why, thank you very much!
Nice details, Elizabeth. Where did you find the music? smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: thank you, Frank!
Hmmmm.... I have a personal assistant - a music connoisseur you might say.

The bottom shot thro' a broken window contains some amazing art
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't that something? I loved the patterns and colors that came through!
very well shot, Elizabeth. i imagine the deep blue paint would have looked smart a long time ago.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Ayush! I bet she was beautiful in her day!

It's funny how even a simple door handle on a car has been improved over the the years. I like your view of the window with the hole.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Everything is so different now... I remember these!
I felt the window looked a bit like a painting!

The rust looks as if it is pouring out of the bodywork.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I thought so - it made me sad, as if it were bleeding
You found a real beauty to photograph here Elizabeth, so many excellent photo opportunities which you have made the most of. It was a sad story you told me yesterday about Studebaker, not unlike what happened to much of British industry.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Brian! I appreciate that - it was fun!
It is sad when good products get pushed aside when eaten up by larger, richer competition. I see that here in the pharmaceutical business - some really great products that don't make it because the larger companies buy up all the shelf space in the pharmacy's.
I used to love polishing chrome!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Me too! Good stuff!
I see you've found a perfect photo shoot smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Indeed! A fun day!
Needs a lot of TLC!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: A LOT! smile

I remember these types of handles and how often they would get stuck in the winters, especially after a freezing rain. Great close-up!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Me too! Those were the days.... smile
Thank you, Steven!
