Its not easy to capture the Wonder of places like this, Elizabeth, but these 2 pics are very good attempts.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Ray - I really appreciate that!

Is there any risk of rocks falling in? I watched "127 hrs" when I was flying to Arizona to visit Antelope Canyon; not the best of ideas, really smile Your man gives this the scale needed.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Duh-oh!! Like watching a surgery on YouTube right before you get yours! smile
I suppose there is some risk - and although I've not seen the movie... wasn't there already the boulder IN the canyon, that some how shifted itself? We've encountered boulders in the canyons that we have to climb OVER... but we're pretty careful and the NPS rangers are good about informing if there are any added dangers.
Small indeed! It must have been quite awesome
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I just can't even express what it's like in there... awesome is one of the many superlatives!

Just like a previous place you have shown Elizabeth, or is it the same?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Welp - we've been in several slot canyons, happens to be a favorite thing of ours... but we have shown this one before as well... So...
Nature made this for only thin people by the look of it.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile The narrowest spot seemed about two feet wide... maybe three...
Really puts the human in perspective, doesn't it?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh it does. And it is amazing how it makes you feel - insignificant isn't really the proper word because I feel more as one with the Earth somehow.
Just trying to imagine the water making this crevasse.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Extraordinary, Mother Nature!

Beautiful towering views of these narrow canyons!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Steven! I always love it when you visit!
Ooog... too tight!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Training, Larry, Training!
