Son cheval est magnifique, j'aime beaucoup sa couleur.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I agree, Martine! A horse of this coloring is called a "Buckskin".
i liked all of them and i think the one of him astride the horse, is remarkable, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Ayush! I just think of the core strength he has to ride and rope... his legs are just a bit shaky! smile

He shows what an active life can do for one.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes... well... break just about every bone, skin cancer, hearing loss, vision loss... BUT - although stiff - still strong, still happy, still going! smile
Fine portraits E.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Bill!

He seems to stand and sit quite well. What bothers him in the walk must be in the joints. Looking at these pictures and your comments, I can just think how striking an article it will make in your local rag.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - I believe you're right. He has broken a lot of bones in his rodeo'ing and cowboy career - so it's hard to say just which joints are stiff or painful - but one can imagine the knees and hips.
Thank you for your compliment. You have an idea - it would be good to honor our local legend in that way!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Steven! Absolutely... It's all he is!
There's a lot of experience in that face!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Indeed there is, Tom!

I don't know wher I love your landscapes or your portraits more. Both show a deep connection
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much for that fine compliment, Paul! Very touching!
Ah, looking backward. I love the one of the man and his small horse.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Thank you, Mary!
