Pretty in pink.

I didn't go anywhere, Elizabeth... smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is a lovely pastel, isn't it!

I'm glad I know where to find you! smile
Des jolies fleurs d'automne.

This is beautiful. Love the point of focus.
And the Mamas and the Papas are legends... great song!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Astrid - I'm so glad you like it - I always feel I want to really tighten up on flowers - and sometimes it works!
I do love the Mamas & the Papas!
Now I'll be singing that all day, Elizabeth!!! And wishing you to get through these next days.....
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile There are worse songs to get stuck in your head!
Thank you - we're aiming for 3 months... :-(

These are beautiful as are the colours. I remember the Mamas and Papas very well.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They are lovely - I remember my Mom playing records- and this was one of her favorites!
Still a favourite song. Mama Cass had a great voice
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's a wonderful song. I love the harmony!
P.S. Love the picture
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you!
A really nice composition, I really like the OOF flowers at the back. This song makes me think two things; 1966 Amsterdam. I was on a holiday to go to the Dutch motorcycle grandprix and this song was tops at the time and was played over and over again on all the juke boxes everywhere we went.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Brian!
I'm so pleased you have such a lovely memory of this! I won't tell you what I was doing in 1966... smile

Mama Cass still looks alive there. Poor thing. Lovely shot and use of the blurred background.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - I like her fancy footwork! Let's remember her like this! smile
Thank you very much, Louis!
Is this a houseplant or do they grow outdoors in your area? It is surely beautiful.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: This is a common wildflower on the Colorado Plateau. Purple Locoweed (oxytropis lambertii).
