Love the Sprite, Elizabeth, but the oversize ear canal doesn't do a lot for me!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Ear canal! That's funny!
I didn't know sprites wore jeans...smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Well - it's a kid friendly park, Larry... smile

Nicely framed view of the sprite through the foliage!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Steven! I didn't like the pedestal she was on! smile

I love that 'whatchamacallit' beautiful shape, it looks like a giant chocolate-soft-ice-cream. The top picture is well taken, love this point of view.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is very soft looking isn't it! Thank you, Astrid!

Surprenantes rencontres !
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Something surprising around every corner!
I would be delighted to just "happen" upon such a sprite while out-n-about, Elizabeth! smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I was very happy to see her! smile

The bottom image is rather like half melted toffee
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I like yours and Astrids descriptions better than Rays! smile
Cette exposition est vraiment surprenante !
Merci pour sa découverte
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: You are so right! I had no idea what to expect, but there were surprises everywhere!

I like you r viewpoint to hide the stand for the sprite. I would not be surprised if Frank adopted a similar pose at some point. Your name for the whatchamacallit is wonderful. I think you'll find, though, that that it a thingamabob.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Ummmmm.... yes he did! But being about a foot taller than I, I think I had the better vantage point! smile
I've been using that term since I was a kid - there's even a candy bar named Watchamacallit! I have a patient that uses it about every 5th word... "I was, you know, whatchamacallit, walking the dog. And we came to the, watchamacallit, cross-walk thing. That's when my eye, whatchamacallit... like... started, watchamacallit, like... twitching or something..."

I like how you managed to hide most of the sprite's pedestal in your shot.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Louis - I thought it better this way!
you a very paparazzi like shot in the top one, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Ha! So long as the subjects hold infinitely still! smile
A disco sprite and an oversize chocolate
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Both seem very good! smile

She looks as if she is warding off something, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Maybe... I thought she was dancing!

This could be almost scary if you came across it in the dark.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh yeah - definitely! Good thing the park closes at 6! smile
Very good use of the branches to fram the Sprite. maureen bought me a bar of chocolate yesterday and put it in the car boot, when we got home it was rather like that whatchamacallit after the car being in the hot sun, but it's not too bad now after a period in the fridge smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Brian! Perhaps the artist had done the same thing - and was inspired! smile
You were spying on me in my garden. That is me isn't it. That is one big piece of taffy.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes, ma'am! I can imagine you dancing around in your garden! smile
I still think Iggy Pop...Apart from, well, you know...After my revelation of the other piece, I can see something here now...Not sure what though, give me time....Mmmm...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Well, Babe - you just think what you will! smile
Tell me tomorrow... smile
