Black Monday

One of the sculptures I really liked - great swirly form...

Oh and that guy in the middle was pretty intriguing!  :-)

Frankly...a Photobomber!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Ha! And I was almost too short to catch it!
I bet you kept him! smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh I did!

I hope you took that guy home with you. And yes this almost looks like the result of when you scrape-off some butter with a knife from the butter-cup. Both are nice however I do like the yellow colour very much.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh yes, I did! The yellow was very pretty.... Frank says it's a woman, sitting with her legs in front of her, flipping long wet hair back... could be... smile

Haha - I understand that you really liked this sculpture!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Especially the peeper in the middle!
Impressionnante !!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was something!
the black and white image imparts a strong centrifugal effect, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I liked it, Ayush - but decided to place the color version as well just for contrast. Most people agree with you!

yes this appeals to me, too. I like the inclusion of the person's face; is it anyone you know? wink
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I wouldn't expect to like it, but there's something about the smooth swirly form. And the person in the middle... I dunno - he just added something special! smile

He is instantly recognisable Elizabeth. There is something organic about this piece.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I think so!
Yes - Frank has decided that it's a woman sitting with her legs in front of her- with wet flipping hair...

He almost looks part of the sculpture, Elizabeth, especially in the black and white version!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I think he'll like that idea! smile

The b&w is excellent with the centrifugal type of patterns. The inquisitive bloke in the middle adds some life to the swirls.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Louis! I think the consensus prefers the B&W!
He does! I took him home... smile
I think I've got this!...I'll tell you when we talk. I got too close as usual.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I do see what you mean... you could be right! smile
Excluding the guy in the middle, is this supposed to be a turkey?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Who knows... the guy didn't explain anything...
But Frank thinks it's a woman sitting with her legs in front of her, flipping long wet hair!
Obviously I recognise the handsome guy in the middle but I'm not sure what the sculpture is supposed to be but in this case I actually quite like it, I think I could even put up with it in my garden.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Frank thinks it's a woman sitting with her legs in front of her, flipping long wet hair! But who knows!
I actually was surprised to find I liked this one!
i find that the b&w image my favorite... and the guy in the middle looks like a spy....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: You're in the majority, then, Peter! smile
He could be... 0070 smile
I like the b&w version...not sure about the peeping Tom though grin
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: You're in the majority!
I took him home - you needn't worry!
I agree - good stuff!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Tom!

Beautiful, eye-catching sculpture captured here!! I'm torn between the B&W and color version.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I actually did like this one - especially the color. But I like the B&W photo because it seems to bring out a little more texture.
