i love the colours and designs on the umbrellas Elizabeth... i'm sure that the café is bright and cheerful....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Peter! It is a bright, cheerful place. Very, um, "Om" like. I've never actually stopped in for a drink... not Frank's cup of tea (no pun intended!). But if I were to go with my BFF Annette... she would fit right in, and we'd be there for hours chatting & laughing, while lounging on the patio against over stuffed pillows, sipping on some mango-cherry-bee pollen dipped Chai something or another! I have such a variety of loves in my life! smile

Very colourful!

I'd like to see Frank tottering along in those high heels wonders, Elizabeth...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: 'tis!
That would be pretty funny... fortunately these would be much to small for his foot - and much too large for mine! smile

What a gorgeous and ornately-designed umbrella!! Great find and capture! Wow, the reCAPTCHA photo was from an area near here.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't that beautiful, Steven! I enjoyed wandering around with my camera!
Isn't it funny - what a small world!

Love the wonderful designs and the place. I think you are right about Frank, this is too much 'ommmm' like for him, he rather goes for a nice hike...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's really beautiful! Yes - and, well - they probably don't know how to make tea to his liking... it's one of the big failures of America for him. That - and the television programming! smile
As we say, Elizabeth, "each to his own." I guess we need all kinds in our world today, don't we! How fun.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes indeed- being different is what keeps it interesting! smile

Don't tell me you sneaked off to Pakistan whilst Frank was away - oh no - a local cafe. What a gorgeous parasol
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: HA! Funny, Lisl! I love that parasol, but not the price tag!

Que de couleurs ! Les chaussures sont magnifiques.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Aren't the colors wonderful! Would you wear those gorgeous shoes?!
They have very noble intentions, and whilst I don't expect them to start a world revolution, very little bit helps.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Well that's right - and they're doing more than most!

The colours are so pretty and the detail is outstanding. I was fully expecting this to be from one of the native American tribe and surprised to find it is from Pakistan. I've had look at their website; I am pleased to see that many of their thais include love and that people are guests rather than customers.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Their artistry is amazing. Thank you for checking their website - they are a great company!
really liking the embellishments on the umbrella and the carpet, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Ayush! It is really lovely workmanship!
De bien belles choses faites dans ce pays , des petites mains très douées !!
Merci pour ces trois photos
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Very true - they have an eye for detail!
Some wonderful hand crafted things E
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Very talented people!
Wonderful craft work such fine detail
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They do have amazing artistry!
Okay. Now I've spent 15 minutes on their website. Wishing them luck...

Although everything is colourful and seems well-made, it is somewhat too glitzy for my taste. Great to look at, but will not buy for the wife.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - a little gaudy... but in their country - this kind of thing is big, so kudo's to them! smile
The colours in this place were wonderful, not a place for a 'brew' though...smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - it's a lovely concept! No - not for you! smile
What beautiflu handiwork these ladies have produced.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Grand artiste's!
Your love of detail is showing through...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Does it show?! smile
A very stylish collection!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - some lovely things!
