photoblog image Sunday Skies

Sunday Skies

Passion can lead you to all kinds of things... Perhaps even a muse. Still waiting for mine to come.:

Frank does this all the time...

and many times he already has the title before he presses the shutter button.

I'm sure many of you are the same.

Full of moist promise...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: A little bit of it actually reached the ground!
i am guessing having an umbrella is not going to be of much help, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Pretty good guess... we were safe in the car!

Yes, I've notice that with Frank's images. I like the different layers here.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's always fascinating for me to watch him work... seeing an image in his head, attempting to get the comp and settings correct for what he wants to do - then in post processing.
Thank you, Alan!

A bit dull out there!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I found it interesting to have the heavy, dark sky above, the wedge cloud in the middle, and haze below...
Sometimes but not as often as Frank I suspect
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Frank is that rare talent, I think!
Great sky once again. It works both ways for me when I take pictures although a lot of my pictures are quite ordinary and are inteneded for my audio-visuals, many of which you will find here https://www.youtube.com/user/brianaw111
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Brian! I liked the layers!
The images you collect for your slide shows are really beautiful when packaged that way and set to music!
Nice cloudy layers. We had awesome skies of threatening thunderstorms the last two days. So busy I got only a couple of shots.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Mary! Did you get any rain out of those skies?
I think we probably all do that to some extent, but sometimes you just have to seize the moment without too much thought.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Bot are good to do!
Your anonymous quote makes me want to stand up and cheer! A perfect answer for the smartphone school of fotography...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'm so glad you liked that quote! I couldn't agree with you more!
