Avec le mauvais temps, il était temps de rentrer chez soi.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yeah - but bad weather makes for good photography, doesn't it! smile
that looks like a really large volume of potential rainfall, Elizabeth. but a great photo.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Very heavy clouds that day! It got us off & on as we drove!

I do like to see this sort of rain; sometimes it summer it will never even reach the ground.

Leon's quote summed up my approach to photography. My dear old dad had a camera very much like the one shown.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's really beautiful! But living here, with this parched earth... I always pray it will give us a good soaking!
Me too, Alan!
Weather can be so dramatic, I love that precipitation.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I do love a good sky!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: We should have matched it up! Yours is much more dramatic... I like that!
Well captured. The quote is very true.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Mary!
That looks as though that was quite a storm to be caught up in. I reckon all of us SC folk live by the words of Mr.Levinstein.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It reached the ground (and our car) from time to time... but much of it just hung out like this!
Yes, I suppose you're right about the quote!
Rain that dries up before it his the ground A fine snap E
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: We see it all too often here!
Thank you, Bill!
Niiice...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Jacquelyn!
that's a big storm on the horizon Elizabeth... well captured....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's trying!! Thank you!
Great bunches of clouds, and a fine motto. With a cool TLR to boot...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Larry!
Woo - that's weather!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is... and it was constantly changing!
