Frank & Al

For the next several weeks I'll be sharing photo's from Sedona and

Oak Creek Canyon. From home, we can drive through Oak Creek

Canyon and reach Sedona easily within an hour - and the

elevation drops up to 4,000 feet in some points.  So when

it's cold in Flagstaff, Frank and I sometimes like to escape

to warmer environs for a bit of a change.  Very special.

Nice to able to escape the cold. Right now I would like to escape the humid heat tonight....which is why I am still awake!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes it is... I don't tolerate humid heat very well. Right now our dry heat is a bit much. It's 86 (30c) IN the house, which I have shut up like a cave trying to keep it cool! Hope you get some rest... I haven't been!

Bit of a blokes' chinwag...the subject will be either beer, gals or Flexibility of The Speed of Light.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'm quite sure it's the latter...
HA! How fun, Elizabeth. I'm always having Astrid do this, too. smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile I love installments that seem to invite you to do this!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh I definitely think there should be!

It looks like Frank is telling Al a funny story.... I love these scenes and yes Ginnie is right, I always have to sit/stand next to such a statue smile
It is good to be able to drive up to warmer weather.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'm sure you're right, Astrid! I like it when a statue invites you to be with it!
We are so lucky... We have so much within our grasp!

I did smile at your comment about the 4000ft height difference; that's the around the height of our highest mountain smile Frank's friend looks a bit like Michael; he's probably telling Frank about yet another Fuji camera.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile That is pretty funny when you think of it! smile
You know - I never thought about that, if Michael let his hair grow out - we could call him Al!

Was Frank explaining where old Bert got it wrong?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He says he was asking if the theory of relativity was how he kept his hair... smile

The guy in brown is left with a wry smile at the guy in blue's comments.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: You can only imagine the conversation... smile
Love the photos. We have weather differences between the east and west but not that much of a difference. I have heard it will be 120 in Phoenix today.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you!
Looks like they didn't quite make it to 120... but it's now 7:47pm, and they're still at 114! Ugh! At least Flagstaff cools off at night!
So, Frank has hired a sculptor, eh? smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Waddaya mean? He did that himself! smile
I was asking him if the theory of relativity was how he kept his hair.....?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: HA!!! And just what was his answer?
What a greta picture, looks like Frank is passing on some worthy information and the other guy sits there just like a statue!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Brian! Yes - no doubt Al was just stunned by Frank's brilliance!
